Chelsea’s take on behind the scenes recording Reputation Wrecked:
This is jokingly dubbed episode 2 take 2… Because it is.
I messed up the sound recording of the first one and, in true diva fashion, asked Vanessa if she wouldn’t mind coming back to re-record as the quality wouldn’t have done her wisdom justice.
Not only was she super nice about it by telling me not to be hard on myself for the mic mishaps… she gave so much more the second time round which has resulted in a much better conversation with more frank conversations too.
I know Vanessa as she’s been coaching me to get my head around cashflow management for the past few months – which is really difficult because I think the Ariana Grande lyrics “I want it I got it” were written about younger me’s approach to cash management.
But with so many businesses failing because they run out of cash, I didn’t want to be in that statistic so I went to Vanessa to teach me money management. We talk about this in the episode and how she adapts her style to meet people where they’re at in their knowledge and helps them to set up systems that work for them.
One of the things Vanessa has helped me most with recently is setting boundaries around my time. When I first met Vanessa she was really open about how she used to work 80 hour weeks but managed to get herself out of that pattern.
We cover it all, from people pleasing to assessing if what you’re spending your time on is actually getting you closer to achieving your goals.
And you wont want to miss the best piece of advice Vanessa has ever been given – it will revolutionise your approach to life.
